Textured Pendant Light in the Kitchen

If you’ve been keeping up on Instagram, you’ll realize that our adorable Ladybug arrived in mid-July. She is already nearly six weeks old, and despite the sleepless nights, breastfeeding trials, and overall fatigue, looking back the time has truly zipped by. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been diving back into decorating! This creative outlet brings me happiness and allows me to feel more like myself. Recently, I spent some time exploring for a textured pendant light for our kitchen. My father assisted us in replacing our builder-grade light fixture with this woven bamboo pendant shade from World Market, and I absolutely adore the cozy touch it brings to our white kitchen!

Inexpensive Textured Pendant Light

Our new textured pendant light was wallet-friendly, which was a significant consideration for me! We utilized the existing wiring and chain to simplify the process, but World Market offers electrical cord swag kits should you require one.

In general, I am very satisfied with the aesthetic that can shift either to boho or coastal based on your decor. The pendant emits a snug warm glow, and since we opted for a frosted bulb, the light is not harsh – a challenge I face with open bulbs in light fixtures – although a vintage Edison bulb would indeed look stunning.

Boho Kitchen Decor

I seldom showcase our kitchen as it is such a busy area and never entirely neat or styled. Even though I love organizing, the kitchen doesn’t often stay photo-ready 😉 Nevertheless, it’s enjoyable to style it up! Here, I’ve incorporated warm woods and metals, various textures, and a pop of mustard yellow to evoke the early days of autumn.

I discovered these brass candlesticks at Goodwill for just a few dollars last year, and I cherish the character they impart to any setting! The footed wooden tray originates from the Hearth & Hand collection at Target.

To introduce a hint of greenery, I placed a Moscow mule cup with a faux plant inside. Additionally, I recently discovered this lovely seagrass tray on sale from H&M online – one of my preferred spots to seek budget decor!

Our countertops are no longer this organized, but I took pleasure in assembling this autumn kitchen! There’s something about the commencement of a new school year and the initial crisp hints of autumn that I find so refreshing. While I feel drained and somewhat overwhelmed by our current season of life, I’m equally excited for the simple joys of each day, holiday decorating, and the new experiences to come.

Have you engaged in any autumn decorating this year yet? I would be thrilled to view your cozy autumn spaces, even including decor from past years if you haven’t begun this season. Or feel free to leave a comment below sharing your favorite fall treat. I’m eagerly anticipating hot apple cider and pumpkin donuts 🙂 I hope you enjoyed seeing our new textured pendant light today!
