Glass Spice Containers with Bamboo Lids
Initially, I bought this collection of 4 oz spice containers with bamboo lids. I ordered the package of 36 jars, but there’s also an option of 24. After assessing multiple selections on Amazon, I decided on these spice jars because they feature optional shaker tops. More information on their functionality is provided below!

In terms of style, glass and bamboo spice jars create a warm ambiance in your kitchen. The cozy hue of the lids contrasts nicely with the contemporary jars and labels. I explored options with gold or silver lids but concluded that these suited our kitchen best. I’ll highlight additional options at the conclusion of this article.
Minimalist Spice Labels

The collection of spice jars also offers three varieties of labels to select from! There are circular labels, calligraphy-style labels, and lastly the minimalist spice labels that I chose to utilize. I appreciate their readability, water resistance, and organized alphabetical numbering.
The numbers assigned to the labels correspond to a spice list that you can display inside your spice cabinet! This feature simplifies finding the spice or seasoning you require swiftly.

I chose to position my minimalist spice labels at the top of the jar. This orientation enhances readability if you’re utilizing a tiered shelf for your spices.

How to Transfer Spices and Seasonings

The set of spice jars I acquired came with a funnel to assist in transferring the spices and seasonings from their original containers. However, I confess that I didn’t end up utilizing it as I would have needed to clean it each time.
Instead, I merely poured the spices from the old jar to the new one over the sink, which worked just fine!

As previously noted, these glass and bamboo spice jars feature shaker tops. This was a decisive factor for me, as someone who, if I’m honest, doesn’t always measure 😉 There’s also a section on the top that opens for pouring.
However, if you consistently use a measuring spoon, you can disregard the shaker inserts.

We quickly use up certain spices, but others linger for some time! To track their freshness, I bought these expiration date labels. They complement the minimalist spice labels well and fit neatly on the back of the jars. Simply utilize a fine tip permanent marker to note the spice’s expiration date.
Tiered Organizer for Spices

Additionally, I already possessed these tiered shelves for spice containers. Regrettably, it’s challenging to read the labels from the rear rows, despite the number being visible. I might explore another alternative and modify this post shortly!

Nonetheless, these shelves are budget-friendly and an excellent choice if you have limited cabinet space. If you maintain the spices in alphabetical order, it would be simple to locate them by referring to the spice list included with the set.
