Frame TV Aesthetics
In recent years, Samsung has enhanced The Frame TV to make it even more elegant and functional. The 2026 edition was more streamlined compared to earlier versions and introduced a brand-new Slim Fit Wall Mount system. This year, the 2026 model launched with an upgraded anti-glare Matte Display. After conducting some research, I deemed this enhancement worthwhile if I was going to invest in The Frame, so I opted for the 2026 model.
Surely, the primary function of The Frame TV is to showcase art when you are not watching it, removing the unattractive black rectangle from your lounge or bedroom wall. You may also purchase alternative bezels to alter the frame’s color surrounding the screen. (2026 bezels are compatible with the 2026 model.) Essentially, it’s a dream for design enthusiasts! I selected the modern teak bezel, which provides a warm wood appearance and contrasts beautifully with my gray media console.
Another remarkable design feature of The Frame TV is the straightforward access to over 1,400 pieces of artwork via the Art Store. A monthly or yearly subscription fee is required, but this option is fantastic if you prefer not to hunt for your own art. The Art Store simplifies matters with curated collections of classic and contemporary art and photography.
Alternatively, you can acquire art for your Frame TV from online stores and upload it directly to your TV using your phone (or a USB flash drive). Additionally, you can personalize your artwork with various mat styles and hues.
Frame TV Technological Features
The Frame is a 4K QLED television. I won’t delve into the intricate details as that’s not my area of expertise 😉 but here’s information on The Frame’s QLED technology and smart capabilities. I will mention that the image quality is superb! It indeed surpasses our previous TV—the colors are distinctly more vivid, and the picture is sharp with high contrast.
While I’ve already mentioned the new anti-glare Matte Display on the 2026 Frame TV, it is truly remarkable. Our living area receives ample natural light, so the matte display proves invaluable whether watching shows or appreciating artwork. Another feature I adore is the brightness sensor for Art Mode, which adjusts the image to align with the surrounding illumination. This enhances the realism of your artwork!
Lastly, all the built-in applications for streaming services have functioned smoothly and are user-friendly. Plus, the stylish white remote is solar-powered, how awesome is that?
Frame TV Setup
It is feasible to mount The Frame independently depending on your comfort level and proficiency with DIY tasks. Ultimately, I felt more secure hiring
A skilled individual. A heartfelt thank you to our handyman who executed an incredible task! After mounting Frame TVs for numerous clients, his feedback was that while the setup is straightforward in principle, it can pose difficulties. The wall mounting mechanism is self-leveling, which complicates the process of aligning the TV precisely. Furthermore, because the TV lies flush against the wall, connecting the cables can be troublesome. Ultimately, it required three individuals to install it: my spouse assisted in elevating the TV onto the brackets while I connected the One Connect cable.
Note: The installation system for The Frame was updated in 2026. Earlier models utilized the “No Gap Wall Mount,” whereas the 2026 and 2026 Frame TVs employ the “Slim Fit Wall Mount.” I thought it pertinent to highlight this in case you are exploring online and come across these terms!
Living Room Before and After Featuring the Frame TV
At last, here is a comparison of before and after! The initial image showcases our old TV. I displayed artwork on it using a variety of techniques that I elaborated on in this post. Nevertheless, it wasn’t deceiving anyone as there was a considerable gap between the TV and the wall, and the reflections were dreadful from multiple perspectives.
