DIY Spring Eucalyptus Wreath

This homemade spring eucalyptus wreath is incredibly simple to create, and you only require a handful of materials to assemble it. I am optimistic that by beginning to craft items for spring, winter will take the hint and start to fade away. This winter has been documented for its significant snowfall and the frigid temperatures we’ve experienced. I am thoroughly prepared for milder weather, melted snow, and improved driving conditions.

I don’t engage in extensive decorations for spring. However, when I stumbled upon two sizable embroidery hoops at a thrift shop, I had to snag them and devise something creative.

I adore embroidery hoop crafts and have shared a few on the site HERE andHERE.It was the dimensions of these particular hoops that captivated me (they measure around 23″ across). Regardless of what I fashioned with them, they would certainly make a bold impression.

I didn’t devise a plan for them until I discovered some eucalyptus stems and flower garland on one of my shopping excursions (I document those shopping adventures on Instagram and Facebook, so ensure you’re following me there). Once I found those pieces, I was certain about how I wanted to utilize the embroidery hoops.

Here is a live video demonstrating how straightforward it was to create the wreaths:

I crafted two wreaths so I can display them together or in different locations. Had I grabbed the other floral garlands, I could have assembled two additional wreaths with the outer hoops on the embroidery hoops. I attempted to return to Target to see if any were left, but they were all sold out. I always find myself doing that! When will I learn to take more when I find items on sale that I adore?

I intended to hang the wreaths on the back porch, but once finished, it was too chilly to venture out there. It can await the warmer weather. In the meantime, I think they appear charming in our bedroom and above the faux mantel we installed in the living room. Did you know that mantel only cost $2.99!!! Yep! You can read all about that story HERE.
