As the summer days diminish and a brisk autumn zephyr sets in, we look forward to the snug seasons that lie ahead. This uncomplicated fall tablescape is ideal for congregating with cherished ones at home. Gathered greenery and vibrant blooms establish an ambiance that is both relaxed and sophisticated.

Greetings, dear friends! Today is a remarkable occasion as I present to you my inaugural FALL entry of 2019! Without a doubt, autumn ranks as my favorite season, and I feel an overwhelming excitement during this period as I envision chillier days, snug sweaters, pumpkin patches, cinnamon-infused tea, and all things harvest-related. Today, I am excited to showcase a straightforward fall table as part of a Fall Tablescape Tour led by Alicia from Nick + Alicia. I trust we motivate you to embrace fall with enthusiasm and to invite friends and family into your abode.
Establishing the Atmosphere: Fresh and Gathered

To establish the ambiance for this autumn tablescape, I concentrated on uncomplicated, organic components. Assembling floral displays is a fairly new passion of mine, but I’ve realized that I find it incredibly enjoyable. Here I utilized blossoms and eucalyptus from my nearby supermarket (cost-effective!) and two varieties of foliage from my garden (even more economical 😉 ).
Here’s the method to achieve this enchanting, foraged appearance:
- Start with foliage. Cascade lengthy stems over the edge of the vase (I included a little store-bought eucalyptus, but predominantly leaves from my garden). Be liberal and enhance the arrangement’s edges.
- Following that, place several varieties of flowers close to the center for a burst of color and charm. Opt for blooms of varying shapes/sizes to avoid a uniform look.
- Lastly, fill the center of the design with thicker greenery (once more, I used cuttings from shrubs in my yard!).
Arranging the Table: Straightforward and Welcoming

While arranging my dining setup, I chose once more to maintain a straightforward approach. Do you see a pattern? 😉 With two tiny tots darting about, we aren’t particularly extravagant lately!
A linen-cotton blend table cover from Homegoods brings coziness to our white dining surface. I opted for melamine dishes that resemble stoneware, alongside attractive textured bowls from At Home. You might recall the azure cloth napkins from my summer table display! To complete the aesthetic, I placed a small greenery sprig at every setting. (Some of these products may not be accessible online, but I’ll provide comparable alternatives below!)

Among my favorite aspects of this table setup is the broad glass vase. The exposed stems appear so lovely and contribute to the relaxed, gathered vibe of the display. I discovered my vase at At Home, however, this one is akin (though slightly smaller).
