Since we wrapped up our basement renovation the previous summer, I have been gradually working to infuse the area with a playful and whimsical atmosphere. Today’s entry focuses on an economical basement bathroom transformation featuring peel and stick wallpaper, a vibrant shower curtain, and golden fixtures and faucet.

First, here is a brief before and after overview of the area. It brings me so much joy! Recently, I’ve been introducing more color into our residence and our basement has served as the ideal blank slate.
During last year’s renovation, I selected a shower faucet set and bathroom faucet to be fitted by our contractors. The hue is “champagne gold.” We have utilized them for around six months and I am extremely pleased with the craftsmanship.
In addition, I picked this lovely vanity light from Wayfair (there is also a two-light variant). It harmonizes with the faucets and provides ample illumination for the bathroom. Personally, I favor “milk glass” shades to ensure that the light is not overly intense.
Before I found the opportunity to add any additional décor, I hung a vibrant shower curtain to create a cheerful atmosphere.
Fast forward to this week, when I chose to apply the final enhancements to this area. I placed my preferred brand of peel-and-stick wallpaper behind the toilet and vanity. An accent wall serves as a swift and cost-effective approach to refresh a compact bathroom.
At last, I finalized our basement restroom decoration with a metallic toilet paper holder, cabinet knobs, and wavy mirror.
