It’s moment for honest admissions. How many of you are delay tactics enthusiasts? Perhaps you don’t hold off until the final moments with everything, just those tasks that don’t genuinely thrill you. Such is the scenario for me regarding Halloween adornments. Each year I battle with myself about setting up outdoor Halloween decorations. I mean, isn’t distributing candy satisfactory? But then the child within me takes over, and I find myself craving a spooky and festive touch at the very last moment. (This post includes affiliate links – see my privacy policy.)
A quick and simple method to adorn around your entrance and porch is to stack the pumpkins! There are still numerous of these orange spheres available. Load the vehicle and pile them on steps and the front pathway. This is an ideal solution for individuals like me who dislike the messy task of carving pumpkins.
I enjoy the appearance of the all-orange pumpkins in the images above and below. Since I haven’t decorated for Halloween as of yet, I might just consider this simple approach. You can keep the pumpkins out until Thanksgiving as autumn decors. Perhaps find a turkey plush toy or two to place atop the pumpkins.

Alternatively, you could acquire a few hay bales and elevate some of the pumpkins. If you’re feeling ambitious, carve one or more of the pumpkins. You can leave this display up until Thanksgiving as well (minus the jack-o-lantern).

I adore these next two suggestions because they’re playful yet simple to implement. The first is a spiderweb next to the entrance. You can easily craft a web from black yarn. You may find a pre-made black spiderweb if you prefer the quicker route. Add a spider – or skip it. It’d still be enjoyable.

Grab some black felt at the craft store to create eyes and a mouth for your entrance, resembling a jack-o-lantern. It doesn’t get any simpler or more budget-friendly than this, and the trick-or-treaters will appreciate it. Feel free to add other decorations like bats and carved pumpkins.

Naturally, you can maintain a fall-themed porch or entrance without the eerie elements, and it will still look wonderful for the neighborhood children who stop by.

If you opt at the last moment to go all out, you can acquire a large yard inflatable for your exterior Halloween decorations. I think this black cat should have a terrified mouse sitting in front of it.
