See How to Layer Pretty Prints: Lake Tahoe Home

Let’s pause from festive decorations and explore how to layer lovely patterns while visiting a stunning Lake Tahoe residence designed by Jute Interior Design. The dwelling underwent a renovation and was revamped with white paneling, playful patterns, and plaids, along with a few coastal elements. The outcome is an invigorating, tidy home showcasing spectacular views of the lake.

You may recognize the plaid sofa in the living room. I featured it in a previous discussion about the beauty of plaid. I adore how the table lamps accentuate the hint of teal in the sofa. I discovered this technique of mixing fabrics and hues in clothing when I worked at the Merra-Lee Petite store in Geneva a long time ago.

A compact, brick corner fireplace is coated in black to add some flair and warmth. Look closely and you’ll see the drapes exhibit a delicate script, mirroring the hue in the above image. And certainly, you can’t overlook that incredible vista through the window onto the deck. Absolutely stunning!

A duo of dark teal accent chairs injects color and snug comfort. Notice that the paneling in this Lake Tahoe residence extends to the ceiling in addition to the walls. A simple vine pattern in the rug harmonizes beautifully with the hues and plaid design of the sofa.

Black Windsor-style bar stools snuggle up to the kitchen island which also serves as a table. Warm grays and timber complement the white walls. A pot rack hangs on the wall above the elegant vintage-style stove.

Wooden shelves are affixed to the wall using distinctive hardware. Creamy crockery makes an attractive display while functioning as everyday plates and cups.

One of the external doors of the home features a sizable glass window so you won’t miss the sight of the lake when the door is closed. A simple striped throw and straw hat add texture to the wall and can be effortlessly grabbed before stepping outside.

Venture outside to the deck and witness why this Lake Tahoe abode is a sought-after piece of real estate. It truly doesn’t get any finer than this! The design of the outdoor table, chairs, and bench perfectly complements the beautiful surroundings.

The master bedroom combines large blooms on the quilt with a smaller geometric design on the pillow shams sharing the same color palette. The patterns beautifully complement the woven headboard.

A guest bedroom incorporates mustard yellow paired with gray. The large floral drapes are not overpowering due to the smaller patterns used for the lumbar bed pillow and the rug.
