Instructions to craft faux stained glass step by step:
- Begin with a laser-cut design – Select from an extensive assortment of shapes like cardinals, hummingbirds, crosses, flowers, and more.
- Apply paint or stain to the wood cutout – Prior to assembling your piece, enhance the wood with paint or stain to achieve a refined, elegant appearance. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
- Attach paper transfer tape to the back – Affix transfer tape to the reverse side of the wood cutout. This aids in securing the crushed glass and prevents leakage of the resin.
- Add color using crushed glass – Fill each segment with your selected colored crushed glass to imitate the look of conventional stained glass.
